The challenge
Tallow & Ash is one restaurant with one chef-owner and no marketing person. Priya was posting when she remembered, which was roughly monthly, usually late at night, usually a photo of a plate.
The problem was not taste or ideas. It was that the ten minutes a day required to make content consistently did not exist in a service business.
The approach
We removed every step that required her to think about production.
The workflow is a voice note. She sends one in the morning — what is on that night, what came in from the supplier, what she is annoyed about — and we send back a cut the next day. No brief template, no shot list, no approval meeting.
She shoots on her phone during prep. We built the visual system around vertical phone footage in bad kitchen lighting, because pretending otherwise would have meant she stopped.
The rest of it
Once the content cadence held, the site and menus were obviously the weak link. Both got rebuilt inside the same subscription, which is the argument for the Studio tier: the brand work happened without a separate negotiation.
What we would do differently
We over-designed the first menu. It was beautiful and it did not survive a service — grease, folding, and a printer that could not hold the spot colour. The second version is plainer and correct. We should have asked to see the printer before designing for it.
Selected deliverables
“I send a voice note and get a cut back the next morning. That is the entire review of the service.”

Thirty minutes. We look at what you are posting now, tell you which tier fits, and tell you if the answer is that you do not need us yet.
